The water was being provided to the citizens on regular basis and in this connection, all administratively sincere efforts were being taken to make sure that people of Badin were being facilitated with water on regular basis despite of water shortage.
These views were expressed by Syed Ghulam Mehdi Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Administrator Municipal Committee Badin, during his team visit of water-supply ponds on Wednesday.
Adding, Syed Ghulam Mehdi, maintained that its prior responsibility of the institute to facilitate the people of towns and cities with provision of water on the regular basis. He said that district administration was sincere to facilitate the people of Badin with all possible facilities.
Earlier, Syed Mehdi Shah visited the water-supply ponds and inspected the cleanliness of the ponds and issued directives to decontaminate the water properly. On the occasion he also kicked off the campaign of tree plantation by as planting the sapling tree here.
On the occasion, he directed to the Incharge water-supply, Murtaza Khaskheli and other staffers to make sure the cleanliness of water supply on the daily basis and decontaminated the water regularly.
While, Murtaza Khaskheli briefed the Municipal Committee administrator regarding the process of water cleanliness adding that water was being provided to the citizens in wake of recent directives of water commission. He deplored that they were facing troubles to provide water to citizens because of long power outage.
